Our Babies and Toddlers program!
Musekids Musica & Dansica is the academy’s program specifically designed for early child music and dance for the little ones. We have variety of parented classes that create numerous experiences that promote growth in a many developmental areas, provide opportunities for socialization, and encourage a love of music and dance.
The Royal Conservatory of Music has noted that recent research has found that “Increasingly, music and the arts are being recognized as crucial intellectual building blocks in the early years, closely linked to such cognitive functions as verbal-linguistic development, spatial reasoning, complex problem solving in math and science, and the development of emotional intelligence. This holds especially true in the early years of a child’s development.
Inspired by this approach, the Musekids Musica & Dansica program uses a variety of activities, movements, games, music, and materials to create an environment that caters to different dance learning styles. We introduce children to basic dance movements across different styles, including ballet and jazz, and diverse genres of music. They develop balance, coordination, fine motor control, rhythm, and their sense of creativity. Each lesson includes many opportunities for overall development.

Early Childhood Dance Classes
Mama Dada Bebe Dance (0 months to 30 months)
This is a dance introduction class that works to support infant development. Cognitive skills are a natural part of fine arts education, and research shows that starting early is associated with better cognitive skills. Children who learn these skills do better in every aspect of their lives. Through circle dances, movement exploration with songs and rhymes and other fun sensory dance and music activities, children develop these cognitive skills, as well as creativity, rhythm, and fine motor control. Group classes encourage social and emotional development, and it presents wonderful bonding time for parent and child. Students who enjoy this class proceed to future group or private lessons. Little Movers Dance (19 months to 3 years)
This is a dance introductory class which allows children to develop the fundamentals of movement through fun music and games. Children are introduced to a variety of music, and learn simple ballet/ jazz choreography while developing balance, coordination, and flexibility. Students who enjoy this class proceed to group or private lessons in the future, focusing on one or more specific instrument disciplines. For more information about Little Movers Dance, click here.
