GROUP LESSONS
LEVEL BEBE: YOUNG STAR BEGINNER (Ages 2 to 5)
Young Star Beginner is designed to be fun and rewarding! Structured home practice is gradually introduced as the program proceeds.
Registration is structured with 10-Classes Semester. 3 semesters in the school year.
LEVEL ZERO: YOUNG STAR EXPLORATION (Ages 6 to 8)
For beginner students, the class focuses on getting started with the instrument, posture, and fundamental techniques to play in a group and solo work. Music reading, intonation and rhythm in group playing and games are incorporated into the class.
Registration is structured with 10-Classes Semester. 3 semesters in the school year.
Students in exploration, orientation, and adventure may join our Musica string orchestra for major production performances during the years as 2nd or 3rd instrumental parts.
LEVEL ONE: STRINGS EXPLORATION/ ORIENTATION
For students who have completed Strings Exploration one year. This class moves onto more finger and bowing technique. This level runs for 20 classes.
Registration is structured with 28 class rehearsals plus minimum 3 performances in the year.
LEVEL TWO: STRINGS ADVENTURE
For students who are working on Book 1 or 2 repertoires in a chamber ensemble setting (audition assessment required). This is a pre-orchestral level. Registration is structured with 28 class rehearsals plus minimum 3 performances in the year.
After Strings Adventure, students should then add on PRIVATE LESSON in the additions of the Musica String Chamber level . Student may choose the following:
Musica Musicianship Theory Class (theory requirement)
Maintaining another instrumental private lesson (Piano or Harp or Winds) to maintain music learning status.
ORCHESTRA ENSEMBLE LEVEL: MUSICA STRINGS CHAMBER ORCHESTRA
MULTI-PARTS AND LEVELS [AUDITION REQUIRED]
Open to students who are preparing to audition to larger orchestra or want to stay in smaller chamber orchestra for more individual attention. This level allows for students to acquire valuable chamber ensemble experience.
This is also a stepping stone to qualify for our ELITE MUSIC STUDENT CLUB, with audition priority to enter our
MUSESICA TOURING ACADEMY
Registration is structured with 28 class rehearsals plus minimum 3 performances in the year.
Wind instrument and Piano students (intermediate to advanced level) may join orchestra ensemble to learn about ensemble playing and accompaniment upon audition assessment.
